About Us
Our Story
Iknaio was founded in 2021 as a spin-off of the Complexity Science Hub Vienna . Our roots go back to 2015, when Bernhard Haslhofer and Ross King initiated the GraphSense research project at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology .
Over the following decade, publicly funded research turned GraphSense into one of the best-established open-source cryptoasset analytics platforms available today. We founded Iknaio to bring that research to operational customers who require tools built on transparent, auditable, scientific foundations.

Security and Compliance
All production systems are hosted on EU-based infrastructure in Austria and Germany. No data leaves the European Union. We process only publicly available blockchain data, customer-contributed data under controlled engagement, or trusted third-party sources under explicit agreement.
We are working toward ISO 27001 certification. Our platform processes blockchain data only; personal data handling is limited to customer account management and is governed by our Privacy Policy .
